It is good to know other languages because you never know where you will go or who you will end up trying to talk to that you can not understand.

Spanish, is common here in the U.S. to learn as a 2nd language.

I think you should learn Spanish, because there are alot of Mexicans living in the US now, and Hosp. , clinics, banks, you name it are always in need of interpreters.

Well I would suggest you learn to speak Spanish, because there are a lot of Spanish speaking people in this country (USA) and a lot more migrating here. Beneficial, because a foreign language credit is usually required for a college degree and it may be a requirement for high school students as well. In most states there is an increase in starting pay if you are bilingual.

Spanish, definitely! It is very prominant in the United States and comes in handy with communicating with people in a bind. I have found that knowing Spanish for getting directions or dealing with my customers in my business is very helpful.

    1) It is useful in any career field that you might choose and allows you to communicate with more people. Also, one learns more about foreign cultures in the process of learning the language. 2) Think about what you want to do with the language in your future. If you plan on just using it locally, you might want to learn the one that is spoken the most in your area. If you want to actually try living and/or working in a certain foreign country, you would want to learn the language of that country. You might want to learn the language of your ancestors.
